Feed Hygiene


Officers should have a clear understanding of the purpose of feed hygiene and relevant codes of good practice, along with a working knowledge of the approval and registration requirements for feed businesses. They should also be familiar with the requirements of the three annexes of Regulation 183/2005 in relation to feed businesses and good animal feeding practice.
