Enterprise Act 2002


Practitioners must be aware of the way in which the Enterprise Act is used as an enforcement tool when dealing with breaches of fair trading legislation. They must understand the processes for applying for undertakings and enforcement orders, and the interaction between trading standards and the Office of Fair Trading. They must also understand the legal constraints of disclosing information gained during the course of an investigation.
